On a hike

Writer: Fer ChimaFer Chima

I went on a hike. The view was spectacular. Just as the word describes it: worth of a true spectacle. Just as if blue and the green combined in a rain of colors from fireworks. A blue turquoise as clear as I have only seen in paintings. “I am blessed to be here” was the thought at every step up the mountain. I wished I had a camera to take some pictures for you to see the scenery. Since I had left my phone in the car, I will do my best to tell you with words.

Pine trees,

one after the other;

Sky,

blue;

Soft, huggable, white clouds;

Air,

breathe;

Jump;

Fly;

Infinite.

Infinite. I am sure that you can find beauty as this one in other places, in other people, in other moments. Go for it. Do something that makes you smile. Something holds your heart with the warmest of the hugs. If you think of me then, we will be two on the same hike.
